Our self-paced online lean
manufacturing certification program covers all of the topics our
classroom version covers and results in the designation of Certified
Lean Practitioner. The format includes audio-visual
presentation, case studies / readings, direct application of the concepts
through projects for enhanced learning, and test completion. And,
like our classroom version, students will have the ability to contact
the instructor with questions, requests for feedback on ideas and
case exercises, and
advice on projects. Students will also be able to contact each
other with questions/ideas via an online forum. The program is self-paced and up to 6
months are allotted to complete it; students will have access to
the program for 1 year. Upon completion of the program
(including a final test and successful completion of an approved
project), students
will receive a lean manufacturing certificate (Certified Lean
Practitioner) and 6 CEU's
(Continuing Education Units).
The program also provides
students with multiple templates that they can modify to suit their
own needs.
