CARLSBAD-- (PRWEB)—November 10, 2004—EMS Consulting Group has
announced
two additional lean manufacturing workshops to be held in the Los Angeles / Orange
County area in early 2005. Attendees will learn how to achieve lower costs, improved quality
and productivity, reduced product development time-to-market, and increased
customer satisfaction. Focusing on the principles of lean manufacturing, they are
designed for business owners, presidents, controllers, plant managers,
engineers, anyone responsible for cost management or the manufacturing process,
as well as anyone in the organization who can benefit and apply concepts to
their areas of responsibility. Participants
will have an opportunity to learn, experience, and ask questions about lean
manufacturing principles. Introduction to
Implementing Lean is a workshop in which attendees will learn the benefits of
lean manufacturing as well as a specific sequence of steps and initiatives
required to implement Lean Manufacturing at their organizations.
This workshop will be held at the Ayres Inn in Orange, CA on January 27,
2005.
Running from 9:00am through 4:00pm, this workshop costs $295 for
attendees who register by January 14th and $350 for those who
register after. Value Stream Mapping is a workshop in which attendees will
learn how to target kaizen activities to optimize improvements. They will
learn how to create current and future state value stream maps and an
implementation plan. This workshop will be held at the Ayres Inn in Orange, CA
on February 17, 2005.
Running from 8:30am through 4:30pm, this workshop costs $395 for
attendees who register by February 4th and $475 for those who
