APICS Invites EMS Consulting Group to Speak on Lean and Outsourcing

CARLSBAD, CA -- Feb 18, 2005 – EMS Consulting Group announced today that the San Diego Chapter of APICS has invited them to speak on "Outsourcing and the Extended Value Stream" on May 18th for APICS's annual Management Night event.  This will be EMS Consulting Group's second appearance at an APICS event.  

"At this event, we will tie together the concepts of lean and outsourcing," EMS Co-founder Darren Dolcemascolo said. "We will discuss how outsourcing can support and accelerate a lean manufacturing program, and then we will lay out a practical plan for extending lean to the entire supply chain."
