EMS Consulting facilitated a week long
kaizen event for the AP process at a medical device manufacturer. Working with small cross-functional team
that included representative from purchasing, accounts payable, and
receiving, EMS consultants successfully facilitated the development of
new process that will enable the client organization to pay its
suppliers on-time and better report its performance metrics. The
kaizen event also resulted in better productivity within the AP group by
changing layout and processing steps.
