and kaizen program for a biotech company located in San Diego.
Over a 5-day period, EMS consultants
trained a small team and facilitated the development of a new process for
processing and flowing work orders from creation to completion. The implementation involved
changes to the workflow, the creation of office workcells, and changes
in layout. The resulting lead time
improvement was greater than 50%.
