Management Profiles
Mr. Dolcemascolo has written the book Improving the Extended Value Stream: Lean for the Entire Supply Chain, published by Productivity Press in April 2006. He has also been published in several manufacturing publications and has spoken at such venues as the Lean Management Conference, Outsourcing World Summit, Biophex, APICS, and ASQ. He was one of 100 nationwide lean experts selected to define the Body of Knowledge for the SME/Shingo Prize/AME LEAN Certification. Mr. Dolcemascolo has a BS in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University and an MBA with Graduate Honors from San Diego State University.

DARREN
DOLCEMASCOLO is an internationally recognized lecturer, author, and
consultant. As Sr. Partner and co-founder of EMS Consulting Group, he
specializes in productivity and quality improvement through the application of
lean strategies. Providing training, facilitation, and advisory services,
he has helped companies in the medical, biotech, semiconductor,
aerospace, consumer products, and industrial products industries undergo
successful lean transformations. Some of the clients for
whom he has worked include Adel Wiggins Group, Amgen, Bekaert Specialty Films,
C&D Aerospace,
Edwards Lifesciences, EV3 Neurovascular, Gen-Probe, Mead Consumer and Office Products,
Newport Corporation, Solar Turbines, Wilbur Curtis Company, and Zimmer. In
addition to working directly with clients, he has trained hundreds of students
through EMS Consulting Group's lean manufacturing workshops and lean
certification program.
