Lean for Any Organization

Lean continues to be falsely accused of being a set of tools that only work for high-volume, low-mix manufacturers.  This is because lean is incorrectly thought to be a set of tools instead of a philosophy of eliminating waste to achieve greater profitability.

This month's edition features three articles that should help you understand more about the nature of lean.  Firstly, we talk about the universal applicability of lean and the need to customize lean for your specific application.  Our second article talks about the concept of pull as it relates to a variety of situations.  Our third article talks about the seven wastes, which are inherent to any process.

The materials referenced in this newsletter will teach you more about lean.  If you would like to learn more, feel free to call us at 866-559-5598 or visit our website and click on "Contact Us."
