Connecting Flow

Whether dealing with manufacturing or administrative processes, one of the key principles we try to apply is Just-In-Time.  A practical way to define this principle is to provide our customer with what they want when they want it in the quantity that they need it.  We can accomplish this by always defining a relationship between customer and supplier.  This is the essence of connecting flow.

In this month's newsletter, we feature three articles that address the topic of connecting flow.  First, we provide an overview of methods we can use to connect flow.  Secondly, we talk about the ideal method of connecting flow, one-piece or continuous flow.  Finally, we talk about applying pull systems to connect flow.

The materials referenced in this newsletter will teach you more about lean.  If you would like to learn more, feel free to call us at 866-559-5598 or visit our website and click on "Contact Us."
