One Piece Flow

Last month we covered the tools that will help achieve basic stability necessary for one-piece flow implementation.  This month we will cover the process of implementing one-piece or continuous flow.

One-piece flow is one of the most important principles of lean manufacturing.  This month we feature three articles that should help you understand more about implementing true one-piece flow.  Firstly, we give you an overview of one-piece flow; this will teach you what one-piece flow actually is and why it is important.  Our second article talks about implementing one-piece flow.  In our third article, we talk about the types of manufacturing cells and which work best with one-piece flow.

The materials referenced in this newsletter will teach you more about implementing lean effectively.  If the articles, links, and books to the left have piqued your interest and you would like to learn more, feel free to call us at 866-559-5598 or visit our website and click on "Contact Us."
