Total Productive Maintenance

Improving the effectiveness of production equipment is one of the least expensive, most effective moves you can make in today's economy.  The ability to produce higher quantities of product with better quality using the same equipment can reduce the need for new equipment and additional floorspace and can thus improve profitability.  TPM is a philosophy by which companies can achieve better Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

This month's edition features three articles that should help you understand more about TPM.  Firstly, we give an overview of TPM  Our second article talks about implementing TPM.  In our third article, we talk about Toyota's approach to TPM.

The materials referenced in this newsletter will teach you more about lean.  If you would like to learn more, feel free to call us at 866-559-5598 or visit our website and click on "Contact Us."
